Southeast Community College-Beatrice campus is hosting this informational table set and screening event in the dining hall lobby. Students are encouraged to find out more about problem gambling prevention and treatment services available in Nebraska.
To commemorate Problem Gambling Awareness Month, tables with information on problem gambling awareness, screening, and treatment services in Nebraska will be in the Nebraska State Capitol Rotunda all week.
Join us at the 1st Annual Problem Gambling Prevention Conference, which will feature a diverse range of speakers, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions. Discover innovative strategies, evidence-based practices, and community resources that promote help, hope, and healing for individuals affected by problem gambling. The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), the Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania (CCGP), and the Pennsylvania Lottery will host a Problem Gambling Awareness Month informational table at the Pennsylvania State University – Harrisburg Campus (Olmstead Building) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 10 AM – 1 PM (EST). The group will be providing opportunities for individuals to receive information on available problem gambling resources.
PG 101 covers the basics about The Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia. Learn about the signs/symptoms of problem gambling, along with similarities and differences to other addictions.
